ICAP in Sierra Leone has been honored as the “Best Development NGO of the Year” by the Sierra Ovation Awards. 

ICAP was recognized for contributions to socio-economic growth and human development at the award ceremony, which took place on December 10 at the Radisson Blue Hotel, Freetown, Sierra Leone.

“I am very proud to carry the ICAP mantel and unique values of advancing global health and will continue to do so proudly,” said Mame Awa Toure, MD, MSc, ICAP’s country director in Sierra Leone, who received the award on behalf of ICAP global leadership.

The Sierra Ovation Awards is an award ceremony organized by the Sierra Ovation magazine, which was founded in 2015, in New York, USA. The awards recognize influential, outstanding, trendsetting individuals dedicated to excellence and contributing to the political, social, and economic development in Sierra Leone.
