ICAP has provided technical assistance to the government of the Kingdom of Eswatini’s Ministry of Health since 2005. In 2009, ICAP began collaborating with the ministry to strengthen the country’s health workforce through collaboration with the Swaziland Nursing Council (SNC) to improve training and support for healthcare workers, primarily nurses and midwives.
A total of 13 modules were developed to help nurses and midwives develop critical competencies for providing care in high HIV and TB areas such as Eswatini.
Each unit is available as a downloadable ZIP file below.
This work was funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through its Global Technical Assistance Project.
