Wafaa El-Sadr, MD, MPH, MPA, director of ICAP at Columbia University provided a keynote address on August 25th as part of a two-day course, COVID-19 from Virus to Vaccine: Biological, Clinical, and Public Health Dimensions, provided by the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Her presentation helped participants understand critical aspects and implications of the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 Course was co-hosted by the Dean’s Office, the Center for Infection and Immunity, and the Columbia SHARP (Skills for Health and Research Professionals) Training Program.
