On October 19, ICAP hosted a distinguished lineup of experts to consider fundamental questions for protecting health care workers. Despite impressive gains in IPC globally, the COVID-19 pandemic has spotlighted the challenges many countries face in implementing IPC precautions. In this latest installment of ICAP’s Grand Rounds series of webinars,  about how this essential evidenced-based practice can be improved globally: How can IPC precautions be employed to prevent epidemics, not just used as tools to end them? What IPC training opportunities should be offered to health care workers to improve IPC? Which policies, plans, and guidelines need to be in place to build a culture of IPC across the low- and middle-income countries that most need them?
