Wafaa El-Sadr, MD, MPH, MPA, global director of ICAP at Columbia University, is quoted in a July 22 New York Times article on the new guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) saying that recovering coronavirus patients should be free to resume normal activity after 10 days, if they have no fever or other symptoms:

“This is anchored in evidence,” said Dr. Wafaa El-Sadr, professor of epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. “I think it makes sense.”
