While the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the entire world, few have been hit so hard as older adults. The devastating impact on those in long-term health facilities was well documented from the outset. But the pandemic has clearly had a range of effects on the health and wellbeing of older in every setting — from the emotional consequences of isolation to racial and socioeconomic health disparities to the digital divide and its relationship to accessing health services.

In its latest Grand Rounds webinar series, ICAP at Columbia University will consider critical issues around COVID-19 and older adults, building on learnings from the recently completed SARS-CoV-2 Impact on Lives and Views of Elderly Residents (SILVER) study. Join us on Tuesday, September 21 at 9 am (ET).
