On February 21, 2023, ICAP hosted a Grand Rounds webinar on promoting integrated service delivery to scale up prevention and treatment services for women and girls of childbearing age who are sero-positive for HIV, syphilis, or HBV, and improve access to SRH services.
Presented by Morkor Newman Owiredu, medical officer, leading the work on Triple Elimination of mother-to-child (EMTCT) or vertical transmission of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B virus, and women’s health in HIV within the Treatment and Care team of the Global HIV, Hepatitis and STI programs at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva. She formerly worked in the WHO Africa Regional Office and has extensive experience in communicable disease prevention and control, HIV / STI programming, and reproductive, maternal, neonatal, and child health programs.
