ICAP’s Jessica Justman, MD, senior technical director, was featured by The Guardian, on Nov. 13 for her outlook on the preparedness of New York City to manage the raising number of COVID-19 cases. Dr. Justman pointed to new steps being taken to curb the coronavirus and the high mask compliance that will minimize the coming surge . Dr. Justman says:
“I don’t believe we’re at a point of no return. There’s still room for improvement [with masks] that would really help blunt the coming surge. I don’t think we are going to have the same experience we had in April. We have so much more knowledge. We have much better testing capacity. We have a whole data system to track everything with so much precision.”
