Wafaa El-Sadr, MD, MPH, MA shares concern to The New York Times that though New York City’s COVID-19 community transmission rate has slowed down, it has not slowed as much as in other parts of the country.
“Everything seems so tenuous and fragile in many ways,” said El-Sadr. “While overall there is a decrease, it is moving incredibly slow, in some ways slower than the decrease that has been noted in the rest of the country.”
