ICAP’s Wafaa El-Sadr, MD, MPH, MPA, global director of ICAP, returned to WNYC’s Brian Lehrer Show on Jan 11 to discuss the latest COVID-19 research and to answer questions from the audience. When asked about those who should be prioritized for getting the COVID-19 vaccine, she said:
“We need to obviously protect the people who are most likely to have a major complications if they develop COVID-19, and that is why there is the focus of residents in long term facilities and those 75 years and older.”
