HIV Recent Infection Surveillance: Implications for HIV Testing Strategies in the Era of Epidemic Control
Delayed HIV diagnosis continues to be a major obstacle for epidemic control. HIV recent infection surveillance using recent infection testing algorithms in routine HIV testing services can help identify which testing approaches are effective at identifying people living with HIV earlier to inform public health responses.
Suzue Saito, PhD, MIA, MA and David Miller, MPH presented on HIV recent infection surveillance and its implications for HIV testing strategies.
