Wafaa El-Sadr, MD, MPH, MPA, global director of ICAP at Columbia University, is quoted in a July 31 Columbia Spectator article on how New York City’s Open Streets initiative could improve social distancing measures on the Columbia University campus.
“In many ways we are fortunate … because we do have a campus right where individuals are at least able to be outdoors safely. I think there are other places that don’t have the luxury of having the quad, you know, that open space. Having more open spaces would be very useful.”
