In a recent CNN article, ICAP’s director, Wafaa El-Sadr, MD, MPH, MPA, was quoted as a leading public health expert giving voice to widespread concerns about the impact of anti-vaccination messaging across social media platforms on the fight against COVID-19, calling it “very dangerous” and saying it could have “dire consequences.”
“We are in a race with the virus,” she said. “We need everyone who’s eligible for the vaccines to get vaccinated as soon as possible.”
