On a July 23 webinar hosted by CME-STEM, ICAP’s Susan Michaels-Strasser spoke alongside senior leadership from Johnson & Johnson and Deloitte on the current status of the global COVID-19 pandemic and the development of a vaccine from a public health perspective.
“Even though we may get a vaccine next year, getting it to the 70 or 80 percent of the population in order to be effective will be the next huge, heroic task… We have to overcome the hurdle to getting the vaccine to those that are marginalized, people who have very poor access to care, who are very untrusting of health care delivery.”
