Join ICAP’s Grand Round series to explore the need for integrating mental health interventions with HIV services for people living with and at risk for HIV around the world. Global mental health expert Pamela Y. Collins, MD, MPH, will provide an overview of the issues, highlight the evidence base, and discuss the successes and challenges of integration in current practice.

Pamela Collins is a Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Global Health professor at the University of Washington (UW). She is the executive director of the International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH), a global health implementing center that brings public health interventions to scale in partnership with ministries of health through a multi-country network crossing five continents. Dr. Collins also directs the UW Consortium for Global Mental Health—an interdisciplinary center dedicated to improving the care of people with mental health conditions in low-resource settings locally and globally.
