Surveillance and Epidemiology
ICAP has strengthened indicator-based infectious disease surveillance in 16 countries including through design, implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of intra- and inter-country surveillance systems capable of rapidly identifying potential events of concern for public health and health security.
In collaboration with our partners, we work to ensure that countries are able to characterize and monitor population-level health by building capacity for high-quality, context-appropriate disease surveillance systems.
ICAP is a global leader in conducting surveys to estimate HIV incidence, prevalence, and viral load suppression to provide critical information to guide programming, policy, and funding priorities from national to site levels.
