Danielle Lestrange
Danielle Lestrange

Director, Critical Care Services

Danielle LeStrange, MSN, MBA, RN, is the director of Critical Care Services at New York Presbyterian Westchester Hospital. She has held various leadership positions over the past 30 years and has been a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives since 2018. Danielle received her MSN from Hunter College of the City University of New York, and her MBA from Iona University. She is currently a DNP scholar in the Population Health Track at Quinnipiac University. Danielle is passionate about community health. In her current role, she is privileged to serve the community she resides in. She participates in many outreach programs and contributes a monthly wellness column to the local community magazine.

Eddie Toro
Eddie Toro

Director, Operations

Eddie Toro, MBA, is the director of operations for the Columbia Irving Medical Center and Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Eddie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Centenary University and a Master of Business Administration/Healthcare Management from Florida Institute of Technology. Eddie has over 22 years of experience at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and as the director, he interfaces with Nursing, Operational Divisions, Support Services, Procurement, Pharmacy, Central Sterile, Biomedical, Columbia University P&S, and other key business units facilitating short and long-term planning; program and project development; control and monitoring project scheduling and implementation. Eddie has also been the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the campus since 2018.

Lauren Everson
Lauren Everson

Director, Finance

Lauren Everson is a Director of Finance for New York- Presbyterian Hospital. Lauren’s responsibilities include performing full finance function assessments and providing recommendations for the future state of the finance functions and processes, supporting the monthly financial statement closing processes of certain hospital entities, transactions, and accounts, and working on identifying areas of improvement or ways to streamline and strengthen finance processes and controls. Before joining New York-Presbyterian, Lauren worked as an auditor of large health systems, teaching hospitals, community hospitals and related affiliates in the Northeast. Lauren has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Boston University. As part of the REACH Fellowship, Lauren’s goals are to establish a culture of collaboration and of larger meaning for our employees to reinforce the critical role that they play in public health emergency response and how they support the hospital’s ability to treat and care for our patients.

Maria Espinal
Maria Espinal

Practice Administrator

Maria V. Espinal is a practice administrator at New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP)  in the Division of Population and Community Health. She is an accomplished health care leader with over 25 years of operations management and organizational experience in academic health care settings. She joined NYP in 2006 as the AIDS Medical Program Administrator. In her current role, she oversees all aspects of the Comprehensive Health Program (Infectious Diseases/Sexual Health), focusing on operational efficiency, grants management, sustainability strategies, and team development. She has been instrumental in improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations by improving access to resources, education, and outreach. Before joining NYP, she worked in various NYC health care systems in leadership capacities overseeing clinical operations and educational programming. Maria received her Master of Public Health from the City University of New York School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from New York University. She is an American Management Association Certified Professional in Management.

Steven Chang
Steven Chang

Manager, Strategy Development

Steven Chang is a Strategy Development manager at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where he develops and implements priority strategic initiatives for the Ambulatory Care Network. Throughout his career, Steven has been committed to serving the underserved and addressing health quality, access, and equity. Some examples of his accomplishments are that he helped to establish the first HIV vaccine research site at Columbia University; he was the primary author of a five-day essential HIV training workshop, funded by USAID and PEPFAR, that resulted in the training of thousands of nurses, doctors, and pharmacists across South Africa; he was the project lead for the DSRIP funded NYP response to the New York State End the AIDS Epidemic initiative; and he helped stand up and provide oversight of two COVID-19 tents to serve mild to moderate COVID-19 cases in support of two emergency departments during the peak of the pandemic. His current focus is on overseeing quality improvement strategy for 11 clinical quality metrics for NYP’s ambulatory care practices. He is also and adult nurse practitioner who volunteers at the Nest Community Health Center in Harlem. On the weekends, he loves hiking and gardening.

Victoria Ng
Victoria Ng

Manager, Liver Transplant Program

Victoria Ng is the manager of the Liver Transplant program at New York-Presbyterian (NYP). In this role, she manages all aspects of the Liver Transplant Program, including operations and strategic plan development. Prior to joining NYP in 2018, Victoria completed an administrative fellowship at the University of Chicago Medicine, where she focused on service line management in the Heart and Vascular Center and Transplant Institute. Victoria received her Master of Public Health in Healthcare Management from the Yale School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The Ohio State University. Victoria hopes to learn how to build a more resilient health care delivery system and address gaps in care in the community.
