Andrea Low, MD, PhD, HIV clinical and scientific director of ICAP’s Population-based HIV Impact Assessment (PHIA) project, and assistant professor of epidemiology at Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, will present evidence on the predicted impact of climate change on food security and population mobility in sub-Saharan Africa and explore how this might impact HIV transmission, using data on food insufficiency and migration from the multi-country PHIA surveys.
