Maureen Syowai, MBChB, MSc, is a medical practitioner with over 19 years of experience, including 14 years in public health practice. She leads two of ICAP’s learning and impact networks, CQUIN and HIVE. She was previously a regional technical specialist with ICAP, providing technical assistance on differentiated service delivery, DSD, HIV care and treatment programming, and COVID-19 mitigation strategies through several donor-funded programs (PEPFAR, Gates Foundation, and Global Fund). She was previously seconded by ICAP as a technical advisor to the National AIDS and STIs Control Program (NASCOP) in Kenya, where she provided technical assistance in the development of the national Test and Start (TAS) and DSD guidance.
