Lucas Vireday is the budget director for ICAP and leads the Strategic Initiatives Finance team. Lucas started with ICAP in 2021 as a part of ICAP’s Cash Management team and has taken on increasing responsibilities, advocating for ICAP Finance, and working directly with ICAP Core Leadership, ICAP Senior Management, and several Columbia University stakeholders. Supporting ICAP’s chief financial officer, Lucas monitors ICAP’s financial health and regularly presents to leaders of the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, the Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and Columbia University’s Office of the Controller. Before coming to ICAP, Lucas worked in both the Treasury and Auditing departments for the City of Boston.

Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Oregon, class of 2019, with a minor in Economics and an emphasis in Accounting Data and Analytics, and Auditing and Information Systems.
