Dara L. Stoney, MPH

Strategic Systems and Knowledge Management, Director

Dara L. Stoney is a public health professional and operational strategist with over 12 years of experience providing program management and operational support to large international and domestic public health programs. Ms. Stoney specializes in applying a “systems thinking” approach to identifying and systematizing best practices and processes for multi-national teams, including developing and implementing innovative technologies that enhance internal strategic operations.

Ms. Stoney joined ICAP in 2017 as a senior grants manager, where she backstopped a diverse portfolio of ICAP projects. In 2021, she transitioned to the senior manager for the strategic systems and operations role, leading a team in further optimizing ICAP’s legacy systems for enhanced operational performance.  As ICAP’s director for strategic systems and knowledge management, she leads organization-wide, process-oriented strategic initiatives that leverage innovative technology systems for business process and knowledge management improvements, designed to strengthen ICAP’s overall ability to maintain high-quality standards in strategic operations and project performance.

Ms. Stoney holds a Master of Public Health from the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health. She is currently enrolled in the Information and Knowledge Strategy graduate program at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies.
