ICAP provides technical assistance to the Vietnam Ministry of Health for sustainable HIV epidemic monitoring with robust public health surveillance and utilizes data to identify public health issues for quick response. In the project’s first year, ICAP is evaluating public health response activities informed by HIV-1 recent infection surveillance infection data to develop and strengthen guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOP), and practices. Additionally, ICAP is building capacity through training in design study analytic techniques.
