The Link4Health study supplement evaluated the feasibility and acceptability of implementing cardiovascular disease risk factor (CVDRF) screening and management among HIV-positive adults enrolled in care at the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital ART clinic. It also compared the effectiveness of two CVDRF management strategies—integrated versus referred management—on linkage to and retention in care. Retention in HIV care was high in both arms, with no difference between patients receiving integrated vs. referred management. (funded by NIH)
