ICAP

Implementation of HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment Programs in the Central Asian Republics

ICAP partnered with the MOH and National AIDS Centers in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan to build national capacity to provide high-quality HIV prevention, care, and treatment services, providing enhanced technical assistance and mentoring to HIV care and treatment facilities, and improving laboratory capacity for quality-assured HIV-related laboratory tests. ICAP also supported HIV prevention for key populations, including medication-assisted treatment, such as methadone for people who inject drugs.
