Project Details
ICAP provided technical assistance to increase the provision of high-quality HIV and TB services throughout the Mozambique health system. At the district level, this included capacity building and implementation support to health directorates in Nampula and Zambezia provinces to strengthen and target HIV prevention and care—including adult and pediatric treatment, integrated TB/HIV services, and voluntary medical male circumcision. At the national level, ICAP worked with the MOH to build capacity for service delivery and continuous quality improvement—including updating guidelines, improving health facilities and lab infrastructure, and training of health care workers. (funded by PEPFAR through the CDC)
