ICAP is partnering with the Ministry of Health (MOH) to build Eswatini’ s capacity in epidemiology and research and to strengthen the monitoring and use of data. The aim of this work is to enable the effective use of health information and disease surveillance to inform policy and programming for a coordinated national health agenda. Under this award, ICAP is also implementing Eswatini HIV-1 recent infection surveillance (EHRIS) program with an aim to establish HIV-1 recent infection surveillance among persons newly diagnosed with HIV infection. (funded by PEPFAR through the CDC)

EHRIS is part of the TRACE Project.
