Electronic Register for HIV and TB

Project Details

ICAP is providing technical assistance to develop, establish infrastructure for, pilot, and roll out an open-source electronic register (eRegister) to capture, manage, and utilize client-level data throughout the HIV care cascade. In collaboration with the Ministry of Health, CDC, and other implementing partners, ICAP plans to support the ministry to expand the eRegister to 172 facilities where more than 90 percent of people living with HIV receive services in Lesotho.[BR] The eRegister roll-out will enable the Ministry of Health to access real-time data on an ongoing basis, providing the capacity to uniquely identify and track people living with HIV across the 90-90-90 epidemic control cascade within and across PEPFAR-supported facilities. The system will also generate accurate reports indicators over time, and support quality HIV care and treatment with an interactive patient dashboard to guide clinicians according to patient management standards. The initiative is funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
