ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks a highly qualified candidate to serve as a Temporary Human Resources Generalist. The incumbent will be responsible for providing day-to-day guidance to ICAP New York on a range of HR-related activities including full cycle recruitment and leave management.  The incumbent will provide high-level customer service to all colleagues, regardless of their location.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three (3) years of progressive and successful HR experience within multi-cultural non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, private foundations or international corporations.

The incumbent will have the ability to prioritize work related demands and meet deadlines while working under pressure. Demonstrated experiance working independently with minimal supervision is required as well as strong negotation and problem solving-skills with the ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships.
