ICAP, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Child Care and the National Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (ZNNP+) is conducted an assessment of feasibility and acceptability to leverage Community Antiretroviral Groups (CARGs) to deliver Tuberculosis Preventive Therapy (TPT).

 

This was a small mixed-methods study to explore barriers and facilitators of male engagement in CARGs in Zimbabwe. Results were used to inform policy and efforts to enhance the coverage, quality, and impact of HIV services by optimizing differentiated care for men. The study explored HIV+ men’s attitudes toward HIV testing and CARG membership at three purposively selected high-volume ART clinics in rural Zimbabwe. Funded by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
