ICAP’s work with Eswatini’s Ministry of Health (MOH) and the National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTCP) to establish routine testing and prevention for tuberculosis (TB) in the country was recently highlighted in Borgen Magazine. The initiative aims to include TB testing and prevention measures in routine checkups for patients, especially at clinics providing tailored health services for women. This approach allows health care providers to more quickly initiate patients on preventative and treatment therapies and, by decreasing the number of clinic visits necessary for testing and treatment, reduces time and travel burdens for the patient as well.
